From the Founder
In 2020, after the murder of George Floyd, I found myself questioning why some incidents lead to accountability while so many others are never seen. After hours of reflection, I experienced something I can only describe as a vision — a clear and powerful idea for a platform that could change that. In that moment, it felt like a calling: to build something that could help protect people, bring transparency, and contribute to real accountability. That vision became WatchR. With a background in software engineering and mobile development, I built WatchR to give people the ability to document their interactions and contribute to a system where accountability is no longer left to chance. This isn’t just about technology — it’s about creating a world where truth is recorded, transparency is the norm, and those in positions of power are held accountable.
